The Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy (Houston Health Law Journal) is committed to providing a scholarly forum for the interdisciplinary exploration of the full range of issues in health law and policy.
We are dedicated to publishing the nation's preeminent journal devoted exclusively to health law and policy issues.
The Journal publishes a volume of professional and student-authored pieces each year, including a flagship Symposium issue in the fall. The Symposium focuses on emerging and important issues in health care law and policy, as well as student-written case notes and comments.
Prospective authors will find that the student editors of the Houston Health Law Journal are professional, knowledgeable, and sensitive to the need for timely publication. Many of the student editors are also health care professionals, holding degrees of M.D., M.P.H., R.N., and licensed professional counselors.

The Institute has been consistently ranked as a top 10 program by U.S. News and World Report for over two decades.
